How to write an llms.txt file

  1. Put it at the root of the domain
Serve it at /llms.txt as plain text with a 200 response.
  2. Lead with one sentence about what the site is
The first line is the part most likely to be read.
  3. Link your canonical pages, not everything
A list of every URL is a sitemap; this file is meant to be the short list.
  4. Keep it in sync with the site
A file describing pages that no longer exist is worse than no file.

We publish no aggregate score: a handful of early-user ratings is not a market rating. See all reviews.
